The 19th International Conference on Laser Spectroscopy ICOLS 2009 will be held on 7-13 Jun 2009 at the Kussharo Prince Hotel in Hokkaido, Japan. The conference site is located along the shore of Lake Kussharo in the Akan National Park. The site can be accessed easily by a single 1.5 hour flight from Tokyo and provides the place for excellent scientific discussions in quiet environment and natural wonder of forests, caldera lakes, mountains and an active volcano.

Following tradition and by design, the conference will consists of a series of invited talks and poster presentations. Due to the limited size of the facility the participation in ICOLS09 will be limited to approximately 250 attendees by invitation only. The first circular will be distributed as soon as possible. Please contact conference secretary (icols09@ils.uec.ac.jp) if you are interested in receiving following circulars.
